"Always a bridesmaid... never a bride" No More

The pictures below were taken from my high school's bestfriend's wedding about two years ago. I can still recall how happy and excited I am for her during that moment. Now, that it's my turn, I really can't explain how I'm feeling. In two months time, I'm gonna change my last name and start a new life with the one I love. Now, I'm a bridesmaid no more, but the Bride herself... (*kilig!)

me and minel...

pretty us! lolz! :)

Finally...

It's used to be I and ME... not it's US, now it's WE..

I Do

(Lea Salonga)

In a while, in a word,
Every moment now returns.
For a while, seen or heard,
How each memory softly burns.
Facing you who brings me new tomorrows,
I thank God for yesterdays,
How they led me to this very hour,
How they led me to this place...

Every touch, every smile,
You have given me in care.
Keep in heart, always I'll,
Now be treasuring everywhere.
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I hold this moment true?
No trace of sadness,
Always with gladness...

'I DO...'

Now a song that speaks of now and ever,
Beckons me to someone new,
Unexpected, unexplored, unseen,
Filled with promise coming through.
In a while, in a word,
You and I forever change,
Love so clear, never blurred,
Has me feeling wondrous, strange,
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I face each moment true?
No trace of sadness, always with gladness,
'I DO...'

Never with sadness...
Always with gladness...
'I...DO....'

Thank God I found him... finally. :)

One Day in Mindoro

I just took a shot from the many coconut trees on our way to the river...

the best part of this trip was the view.. (sigh) just mesmerizing.. the mountain view

ilog mainit yata tawag dito pero kabaligtaran naman kasi super lamig siya! meron lang yatang part na mainit pero sa kabilang part pa yun ng river...

o diba naka-jogging pants ang lola mo! (san ka pa?! haha!)

super lamig ng tubig as in!

I came back to Mindoro for the birthday celebration of daddy's father and younger brother. Since his brother is already married and currently residing in Naujan, we went there with three motorcycles. And me as a nature lover (tripper!) loved the idea of mountain and trees that we will see on our way to his brother's house. This is why I love to be here. The view and of course.. to be with someone so special. I hope we will be able to explore more of the place. I hope.. next time. ;)

Here I am... again!

Yes! I'm back! Again? I hope so... Well, I just want to share some photos from my trip to Oriental Mindoro last Summer. It was indeed a very enjoyable and exciting vacation.. (ehemm..) It was the first time that I've been to Mindoro and it was my first time to ride a ship or a boat or something of that kind... and it wasn't bad at all, maybe because I'm with someone (ayiee!) and yes, Puerto Galera but we didn't stay long because we didn't have enough budget for that! (haha!) We just had a 2-hour trip from Calapan to Puerto courtesy of my Daddy's motorcycle. It was an awesome view and I can't help myself but to be mesmerize with the green trees, blue water and of course, white sands!!! (is it really white?) We just ate in those many stalls near the beach and mind you.. ginto ang presyo! hehe! I hope we can come back to Puerto Galera and be able to experience the "island hopping" and to have an overnight stay in one of the resorts. Saya nun! ;)

The photos above are the islands that you can see on your way to Batangas Pier... I can't recall the names but they definitely are eye catching. :)

Tagaytay with my Clan

Last August 23, my relatives and I went to Tagaytay. Tagaytay City is still part of Cavite and it is known as the "summer capital" of the Philippines.. (before you react... LOL!) next to Baguio! We went to Tierra de Maria also known as Haven Of Meditation and Enrichment or HOME. It is the HOME of a majestic 50-foot image of Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth. Well, just to give you a little bit of information, I am actually afraid of big statues and you can understand the chills I felt when I saw the image of Mama Mary. But I faced my fears for the sake of having the courage to go inside the chapel and pray. After that, we went to Tagaytay Picnic Grove. The last time that I've been there was when I was 10 years old I think. The place has changed a lot and so do I. LOLx. There, you will be able to relax and enjoy the view of Taal Lake. I just didn't like it when we have to walked and climbed the stairs. I got so tired just thinking about how long does it takes to get to the top or to get a better view. My elder cousin also decided to went to mini zoo but I just stayed in the van. Only the kids went there. I just hope that we had more time for us to really explore Tagaytay which is just an hour drive from where we are in Cavite.
Here are some photos that I took from that trip. I got lazy from editing it on photobucket, so I only have five photos to share. :)

The view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano in Batangas.

Me and my niece Hershey @ Tierra de Maria

My nieces: Aiza and Hershey with me. :)

Skywatch Friday - Again

I really don't know what to say here. The words just couldn't flow out of my mind. My mind just froze in the midst of confusion and isolation. Several months without any entry is kinda frustrating and having the urge to post again is such a work for me. Just like what I said to Caren, my former pupil, maybe I need to be inspire again to continue blogging... so am I inspired again? Hmm... I'm not sure though.
But hey, I'm back! Well, for now. I can't promise to be here forever.. but I think a post every now and then is not so bad after all. :)
The photo above is so familiar to all the Gentriseños. Well, yeah, I got this shot at the back of our public market and the building at the right side is no other than the Convention Center. My co-teacher and I was walking along this road when I saw this mesmerizing view. I was awed by the beauty of the sunset and I was so glad that I have my digicam with me. I guess, this scene can give you a smile on your face after a long and tiring day. It worked for me. ^_^

You can also see a lot of these pictures here at Skywatch Friday.

Happy Skywatch Friday guys! Have a blessed weekend! ;)

Skywatch 22: Cagayan River

These photos are also from my stay in Isabela last April. I took these shots while riding on a boat. Imagine, they have to cross Cagayan River just to be able to go to the town proper. It was an experience actually. And an unforgettable one for that matter. :)

I know it's been a while, actually almost a month that I haven't been able to post anything here. Well, I've been kinda busy and honestly, I got tired of taking pictures and so, I ran out of photos to post for my blogs. I know that most of the bloggers, if not all, in one time or another have experienced this. The feeling of laziness and the urge to just quit altogether. Well, I've felt that. And also, my blog is actually experiencing some technical error, I thought it will just for a few days but still, I've experienced that everytime I logged in to blogger. Maybe I'll just make a new one but I know that my enthusiasm to post will not be as much as before.
This is my post for Skywatch Friday. Hope to post again next week. Hope to see you again guys. :)
Happy weekend! Happy Skywatching! :)

100th Post - Skywatch Friday 21: Missing Isabela

I am so happy to announce that it's my 100th post! Yipee!!! Atlast! haha! I can't believed that I've gone this far. Anyway, the school will soon be open. Actually, in just two days! And yes, I was assigned in the newly-open school in our district. Hope everything will turn out good come Monday. (sigh)

Anyway, here's my entry for this week's Skywatch Friday. It's a photo from my shots during my stay in Isabela. I just used my cellphone camera for this. Just click here to see more of these. :)

Yep, that's us! Me and my College friends will hit the beach this Saturday night at Nasugbu, Batangas (I still don't know what resort would that be). Yeah, night swimming! Haha! Our last trip before the school starts this Monday. Hope we'll have a good time! :)

Happy Weekend everyone and Happy Skywatching! :)
